By accessing or using BrightPrep (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
The Service provides a digital study tool designed to help users study for the SAT. The Service is offered "as‑is" and "as available."
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
We collect information you provide—such as your SAT test date and performance results—to deliver and improve personalized study guidance.
We use this information solely to power your study plan and to enhance your learning experience.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service—including text, graphics, and software—are owned by BrightPrep or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any portion of the Service without our prior written consent.
The Service is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to the College Board, Educational Testing Service (ETS), or any other SAT‑related organization.
Your performance on the SAT depends on many factors beyond our control. The Service makes no warranties or guarantees regarding your test scores or outcomes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITH ALL FAULTS, AND "AS AVAILABLE." BRIGHTPREP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON‑INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIGHTPREP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BrightPrep from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.
